“ OMG! The Cod dish I had was the best ever. Service was fine. Had a upscale family ambiance. I would visit again hands down. ”
“ The place surprised me with the level of food, it is very good. I was not expecting to eat so delicious at a place such crowded and big. I recommend the whole fish with farofa so great flavor. ”
“ Place was clean and our waiter was really helpful in his own language. Nobody speaks English so be prepared with google translate or something. Sadly no lobster but the was delicious I definitely want to visit again for some lobster. If I’m not mistaken there is a private parking at the back. ”
“ Excellent place to eat awesome dishes from Bahia. We ate a fried ball of cod, shrimps, shrimp bean balls, and shrimp muqueca. Super delicious dishes. Definitely worth it. ”
“ Barraco is known as the best place to have seafood in Recife. Very traditional place with great service. I expected more. What I loved: You have complimentary valley parking which is very convenient due to the challenges with parking. The environment: a little bit packaged, but overall comfortable and well decorated. There is a piano playing in the background that makes you feel relaxed. They do charge a small fee called couvert, though. Food: my biggest disappointment. The vatapá for the acarajé was missing salt. The shrimp was cold. Th flavour increased when we added table salt to it, so it’s just a matter of fixing things up in the kitchen. The moqueca de Lagosta was missing something. It’s clearly not made of fresh lagosta. The consistency of its meat was harder than it should be. Lacking salt again. We had to add spices, salt and olive oil to enjoy our food. However, after doing that the flavour did came up. Overall 3.8 starts due to the excellent service provided. ”
